NCERT Sanskrit Curriculum & Paninian Grammar Integration
Welcome to the Sanskritbhashi School Prep Module, a comprehensive educational framework meticulously aligned with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) curriculum for Sanskrit. Our platform targets students from Class 6 through Class 10, transforming traditional grammar learning into an interactive, gamified journey.
The curriculum is structured around the core elements of Sanskrit grammar as defined by classical Paninian linguistics. Learning Sanskrit requires understanding the foundational blocks: Shabdarupa (noun declensions across genders, numbers, and cases) and Dhaturupa (verb conjugations across various tenses, moods, and persons). By parsing these topics into distinct, bite-sized practice levels, we ensure that students can master complex topics step-by-step.
Our lessons are categorized into three main categories:
- Beginner Syllabus (Classes 6 & 7): Introduces basic vocabulary, Varnamala (Sanskrit alphabet), vowels and basic Sandhi rules, and simple present tense conjugations (Lat Lakara). Students learn to construct short sentences and translate simple terms.
- Intermediate/Professional Syllabus (Classes 8 & 9): Explores advanced noun declensions, past tense (Lang Lakara) and future tense (Lrt Lakara) verb forms, and the concept of Karaka (case relations). We introduce basic Avyayas (indeclinables) and simple compound words (Samasa).
- Advanced/Expert Syllabus (Class 10 and beyond): Focuses on complex Sandhis (such as Visarga and Hal Sandhi), intricate compound formations (Dvigu, Bahuvrihi, etc.), and active/passive voice transitions (Kartari and Karmani Prayoga). Students practice on actual passages from NCERT textbooks like Shemushi and Ruchira.
To guide students and maintain high academic standards, Sanskritbhashi employs a Diagnostic Gateway lock. When a student attempts to progress from the Beginner levels to the Professional levels (specifically at Chapter 31), the system locks access until they pass the Beginner Gateway Test. A score of 80% or higher is required to unlock the next levels. This ensures that students have fully mastered foundational declensions and sandhi transformations before attempting more challenging compound analysis or passive voice translations.
By combining high-quality audio files for perfect pronunciation, inline grammatical rule explanations, and an adaptive feedback loop, Sanskritbhashi provides a modern laboratory for learning the language of the devas.
